Stonewood Builders & Contractors, Inc. has been building houses in the tri-state area – Delaware, Maryland, and Pennsylvania – for over thirty-eight years and is a member in good standing of the Home Builders Association of Delaware.  In December 2004, Martin A. Giordano, President of Stonewood Builders, was selected Builder of the Year by the Home Builders Association.  Each year, this Association recognizes one Builder in Delaware for his “Excellence, Extraordinary Service, and Exemplary Dedication to HBA/DE”.   Stonewood is also a member in good standing of the Quality Builders Warranty Program.  Each house built by Stonewood receives a ten year warranty from this Program.

During the past thirty-eight years, Stonewood has built hundreds of custom homes with designs ranging from traditional to contemporary and prices ranging from $150,000. to well over $1,000,000.  Stonewood was the sole builder of two exclusive neighborhoods in Middletown, Delaware:  Dickerson Farm, a community of ninety-one homes, and Chesapeake Meadow, a community of sixty-eight homes.  Stonewood also completed an exclusive project in Odessa, Delaware:  Thomas Landing II, a development of thirty-three homes.    Work is currently underway in Clayton, Delaware on Stonewood’s latest project, Providence Crossing.  Stonewood is planning on building sixty-five homes in this rural setting.
